About Mondetto

Mondetto is for people who want to make the world feel small and life feel large: to spend months, seasons, even years living somewhere new with the people they love, then go somewhere else together.

We bring the information that decides a long stay into one place: when to go, where to base yourself, the right home, and how to get there. Where reliable data exists, it updates itself. Where judgment is needed, we give ours, and say that it’s ours.

A fit score shows how well a place matches the choices you make in Discover. It is not a judgment that one place is better than another. Change your choices and the order changes.

When you leave something unchosen, it counts as neutral rather than for or against. When a place clearly misses a setting or climate you asked for, its score drops further, and the result says why. Every result lists the reasons it ranked where it did, and the main trade-off.

So that an old opinion never passes for a current fact, every piece of information on Mondetto is one of four kinds, each with its own refresh schedule.

If a partner feed is unavailable, we show the last information only when it’s still appropriate, mark it as such, and link to the partner. We never present an old price or flight as live.

Every destination guide includes a sense of the place: small details of taste, sight, sound, touch and smell that you won’t find anywhere else, and only really notice when you stay awhile.
